Karl Bushby is nearing the end of a 28-year journey to walk 30,000 miles around the world and return home to Hull.
The challenge has taken him through experiences including robbery, imprisonment and a near-fatal loss of blood. Yet as he approaches the final stage, Bushby says his greatest fear is what will happen after the journey ends.
Rather than the dangers faced on the road, he is worried about waking up in his childhood bedroom in Hull and having to decide what to do next.
After almost three decades spent walking across the world, Bushby is now confronting the prospect of life beyond the adventure that has defined him for so long.
