Billy Evans appears to have updated a post from Elizabeth Holmes’s X account after watching the documentary You Can See Everything, adding a signature that seemingly claimed she had written the original remarks about Charlie Kirk.
The post, published on 13 September 2025, said: “Charlie Kirk talked profoundly about forgiveness; its power. I keep thinking about that today and what it means to rise in the face of the unforgivable.”
On 17 October 2026, the account added “-EAH” beneath the post, indicating that the words were allegedly Holmes’s own. However, the documentary raises questions about who has been writing and publishing content on her account.
Who has been running Elizabeth Holmes’s X account?
Holmes has been in prison since May 2023. In You Can See Everything, Evans says he has been posting on her behalf and has power of attorney over her.
He says someone at the social media platform gave him access to the account on that basis. Documentary filmmaker Nathan Fielder also points out that some of the posts and replies do not sound like Holmes.
Evans says most of the posts are based on emails Holmes sends him from prison, while others are written in his own voice. When Fielder later asks Holmes about the messages, she reportedly shrugs off the issue and says she trusts Evans.
A post from the account on 27 September 2026 said that future messages written in Holmes’s own words would be marked “-EAH”, while unsigned posts would come from “the team managing this account”.
The question of the Charlie Kirk message features in a meeting between Evans and Amanda Seyfried, who played Holmes in The Dropout and won an Emmy Award for the role.
Evans challenges Seyfried over social media criticism she received after describing Kirk as “hateful” following his assassination. He says he supported the conservative podcast host and hoped his “voice will carry far”.
When did Billy Evans see You Can See Everything?
The apparent update came a day after Evans attended a private screening of the documentary on Friday 16 October. He was interviewed afterwards by Bryan Johnson, founder of Immortals, although the conversation was described as off the record.
Johnson called the film a “masterpiece” and said Evans had been given the opportunity to defend himself but had declined to strike back. Evans later replied: “Thank you so much for making the trip up, treating the interview with such care. I really admire you Bryan, you are brave and selfless and I’m honored to know you.”
He added: “When the world is against you and the pain is so real it means so much to have people like you show such kindness.”
Although the “-EAH” addition appears to attribute the Charlie Kirk comments to Holmes, the documentary leaves unclear whether the original message was written by her or by Evans.
