A Milwaukee Brewers fan who paid $1,000 for a “Timeless Ticket” in 2015 has criticised the club after being offered only limited seating options for the team’s World Series return.
Danny Fochesato had hoped to use the pass to secure prime seats at American Family Field for himself and his 76-year-old father. Instead, he said he was presented with mainly terrace-level seats and standing-room-only options before tickets went on general sale.
Brewers Timeless Ticket seating limited for World Series
The Brewers sold 1,000 of the brass tickets in 2015, promising holders admission to any future home game, including the World Series. The club’s current terms say each ticket can be exchanged for one seat, subject to availability, while holders can buy up to three additional tickets at the regular retail price.
The team advised holders to redeem their tickets as early as possible. Redemption for the 2026 World Series opened on October 14, one day before single-game tickets went on sale to the general public.
The Brewers had warned that the number of seats available for individual purchase would be “extremely limited” because of unprecedented demand for the club’s first World Series appearance since 1982.
Fochesato previously used his ticket during the 2018 postseason, when he secured a seat directly behind home plate. He said he expected a similar opportunity when Milwaukee reached baseball’s championship series this year.
“It’s been 11 years that we did this and put our faith in the Brewers,” he said. “For them to not really honor it in the original way… doesn’t feel right. My dad is 76, so this is probably the last chance.”
He eventually redeemed the ticket for four seats in the right-field corner for Game One. To allow his family to attend Game Two together, he paid separately for three further terrace-level tickets for himself, his sister and his father.
Fochesato said he remained pleased to share the World Series experience with his father, but believed the process should have been easier and the seats better.
“I’m still getting to do this with my dad,” he said. “But I wish it would have been easier, and we could have gotten better.”
The Milwaukee Brewers had not responded to questions about the redemption arrangements for Timeless Ticket holders at the time of publication.
