Charlize Theron hosted the sixth annual Charlize Theron Africa Outreach Project Block Party at the Universal Studios Backlot in Los Angeles on Saturday night, with the fundraising event supporting young people in her native South Africa.
The 51-year-old actress attended in a black Dior mini dress as celebrities gathered for the event, which benefits the foundation she established in 2007.
The Charlize Theron Africa Outreach Project works with community-based organisations supporting young people, sexual and reproductive health and rights, and the prevention of gender-based violence.
According to figures provided by the foundation, it has awarded more than 15.8 million dollars (£11.7 million) in grants and reached more than 4.8 million young people through supported programmes. Almost 77% of the organisations it has backed have received flexible, multi-year grants.
Theron was joined by longtime friend January Jones, as well as Skye P Marshall, Baywatch actor Thaddeus LaGrone, The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City star Heather Gay and her boyfriend Tripp.
Natalie Martinez, Terrell Carter, Theo Bongani Ndyalvane, Thando Dlomo, Jeannie Mai, Natasha Lyonne and Carolyn Michelle Smith were also among those attending.
The evening featured a performance by Kid Cudi, adding live music to the annual fundraising gathering.
