Chelsea have joined Manchester United and several other leading clubs in the race to sign Leicester City midfielder Louis Page, according to a report from journalist Ekrem Konur.
The 18-year-old has attracted growing interest after establishing a strong reputation, with Arsenal, Liverpool, Manchester City and Borussia Dortmund also reported to be monitoring his progress.
Konur said scouts from Everton, Newcastle United and Sunderland had recently watched Page, while Manchester United had come close to agreeing a deal for him during the summer.

Leicester are understood to have asked for a package worth €18 million in September, with Page’s future now attracting significant attention from clubs in England and abroad.
Manchester United had previously been strongly linked with the teenager, but their failure to complete a move has left the door open for Chelsea and the other interested sides.
Chelsea have developed a reputation for recruiting highly-rated young players and offering them a pathway to progress, although some have also been sent on loan to Strasbourg, another club within the BlueCo group.
United could present a similarly attractive option given their record of promoting academy prospects and recruiting promising young talent. Borussia Dortmund may also appeal as a potential stepping stone, having provided young English players with opportunities to develop before making bigger moves.
It remains unclear whether Manchester United retain an advantage in the pursuit of Page, or whether Chelsea’s reported interest will alter the midfielder’s options.
