Claire Foy brought a polished touch to the Venice Film Festival on Wednesday as she joined her Ink co-stars Jack O’Connell and Guy Pearce for a photocall on the Lido.
The actress stood out in an oversized grey shorts suit, pairing the tailored ensemble with a simple top and understated accessories for the daytime appearance.
Foy, O’Connell and Pearce are appearing at the festival ahead of the world premiere of Ink, which opens the 83rd Venice International Film Festival in competition.
Directed by Danny Boyle and written by James Graham, the film explores Rupert Murdoch’s acquisition of The Sun and its transformation into Britain’s best-selling tabloid.
Pearce plays Murdoch, while O’Connell portrays editor Larry Lamb. Foy takes the role of Jules Davies in the film, which is scheduled to screen at the Palazzo del Cinema on Wednesday evening.
The Venice festival runs from September 2 to September 12, 2026, with Ink among the major titles launching this year’s competition.
