Coronation Street actress Brooke Vincent has reportedly split from her fiancé, former professional footballer Kean Bryan, after a decade together.
The couple are said to have quietly called off their engagement earlier this year. Vincent, 34, and Bryan, 29, became engaged in 2022 and share two sons, Mexx and Monroe.
Speculation about the relationship emerged after Vincent posted a cryptic message on Instagram following a girls’ night out. Alongside photographs from the evening, she wrote: “August… somehow an ending and a beginning all at once.”
A source told The Sun that the pair had decided to separate but remained focused on co-parenting their children.
“It wasn’t an easy decision for them to make and they are both trying to navigate this new path together,” the source said.
“Brooke has thrown herself into work, as well as spending time with her friends and Kean is doing the same. They had been together for ten years so it was always going to take time to adjust.
“Right now their focus is on their sons and keeping normality for them.”
Representatives for Vincent and Bryan have been approached for comment.
Vincent has recently returned to television after joining the cast of rival soap Hollyoaks, where she plays new character Abigail Matthews.
She is best known for portraying Sophie Webster in Coronation Street, joining the ITV soap in 2004 and remaining on the programme until 2019.
Vincent left the show after going on maternity leave following the birth of her first son, Mexx, in October 2019. She and Bryan welcomed their second child, Monroe, in May 2021.
Announcing her Hollyoaks role in April, Vincent described it as a “powerful storyline” and said she was grateful for the opportunity to return to a full-time job.
