Susan Dell has become the focus of intense online attention after appearing at the White House to promote the Trump Accounts programme alongside her husband, Dell Technologies chief executive Michael Dell.
The 62-year-old philanthropist spoke at the White House on Wednesday October 7, encouraging families to sign up for the scheme, which aims to provide $1,000 in government seed money for investment accounts for children born over the next four years.
Susan and Michael Dell have been married since 1989 and have four children. They have also worked closely with Donald Trump on the programme for almost a year.
In December 2025, the couple announced that they would contribute $6.25 billion of their own money. They have since pledged to give $250 to the accounts of 25 million children.

In 2008, she was photographed with the Muppets at the Sesame Workshop Benefit Gala in New York City. She was also pictured with Michael at the Allen & Company Sun Valley Conference in Idaho in 2015.
The couple appeared together at events including the World Golf Championships-Dell Technologies Match Play in Austin, Texas, in 2023 and the Mack, Jack & McConaughey Gala in the same city the following year.
In April 2025, Susan and Michael attended the Breakthrough Prize Ceremony in Santa Monica with their daughter Alexa Dell and her husband, Frédéric Choquette.
The couple returned to the White House in December 2025 to announce their contribution to Trump Accounts. Susan also appeared at the 2026 Breakthrough Prize Ceremony and joined Michael at the White House in July to mark the first day of trading for the accounts.
They were back at the White House in October 2026 when Trump announced that automatic enrolment for the $1,000 government deposit had become active.
