The driver involved in the crash that killed Godzilla vs. Kong actress Kaylee Hottle was not under the influence of drugs or alcohol, according to the Frederick County Sheriff’s Office.
Tests on the 19-year-old driver detected neither substance, the office said. Hottle was 18 when she died.
The crash happened in July in Maryland, when the Honda Accord in which Hottle was travelling left the road and struck a ditch. Investigators believed excessive speed was a factor.
A medical examiner found that Hottle died from multiple blunt force injuries and classified her death as accidental.
