Lexi Kramer is to be honoured at a memorial in Lakeland, Florida, next month following the fatal car crash involving car influencer James Wehr.
Kramer’s sister, Gracie, announced on Instagram that a celebration of life will be held on October 9. She said the gathering would give relatives and friends an opportunity to celebrate Kramer’s life and remember her.
All of Kramer’s friends and family are welcome to attend, Gracie said, while asking the media to stay away out of respect for those who are grieving.
Kramer and Wehr died in a fiery crash over the weekend after police said Wehr lost control of his 2019 McLaren. Video of the incident showed the car hitting a wet patch in the road before appearing to slow and then veering into a tree. The vehicle exploded on impact.
Wehr’s family has referred to Kramer as his “friend” while announcing plans to honour both of them at the South OC Cars and Coffee meet-up, which he co-founded with his father, Simon Wehr.
Kramer’s family has alleged that Wehr flew her to California and told her he was getting divorced from his wife, Emma, although they said that was not the case. Emma has since hired an accident attorney following the crash.
