A Florida mother and her son have been accused of having an incestuous sexual relationship, with investigators told they had had sex “only about 100 times”, according to Polk County Sheriff Grady Judd.
The case came to light after Christina Clemens contacted police and accused her son, Shane Clemens, of assault. Deputies arrested Shane, who then allegedly told them about the sexual relationship with his mother.
Sheriff Judd said officers questioned Christina about the allegation and that she confirmed it. She and Shane have both been charged with incest and domestic battery.
Christina has also been charged with living in open adultery. She is married, and her husband reportedly told police he was “happily” married.
Investigators were allegedly told the husband had become suspicious after seeing Christina and Shane enter the main bedroom together and lock the door. Sheriff Judd indicated that the husband was not Shane’s father.
Commenting on the allegations, Sheriff Judd said: “What else can you say? That’s nasty.”
