A 27-year-old man has been charged after a three-year-old girl died following a collision with a car in Auburn, western Sydney.
Emergency services were called to Normanby Road shortly after 2pm on Tuesday after reports that a child had been hit by a vehicle.
The girl was taken to Westmead Hospital in a critical condition but died several hours later.
The driver was not injured. He was taken to Auburn Hospital for mandatory testing before being transported to Auburn Police Station.
Police charged him with negligent driving occasioning death. He was released on bail and is due to appear at Burwood Local Court on Wednesday.
