Jay Baruchel is going to be a father after his wife, Rebecca-Jo Dunham, revealed her pregnancy at the Toronto International Film Festival premiere of his new film, The Stunt Driver.
Dunham joined the 44-year-old actor on the red carpet in Toronto on Friday, where she displayed her baby bump. The couple have been married for seven years and are expecting their first child.
Sharing photographs from the event on Instagram afterwards, Dunham wrote: “When I’m pregnant I won’t tell anyone, but there will be signs.”
The Stunt Driver premieres at TIFF
Baruchel was attending the festival premiere of The Stunt Driver, which he stars in alongside Ed Helms and Laurence Leboeuf. Writer-director Michael Dowse and cast members Joe Cobden, Dan Bakkedahl and Derek Johns were also at the event.
Set in the mid-1970s, the film tells the true underdog story of Canadian stunt driver Ken Carter, played by Baruchel. The world champion attempts to overcome personal demons and public doubt as he prepares to drive a rocket car across a mile-long stretch of the St Lawrence River.
The Stunt Driver is due to be released in cinemas on 25 September.
