Jenna Ortega wore a one-of-a-kind dress made from steel rods to the New York screening of Klara and the Sun, where she appeared alongside co-star Amy Adams and director Taika Waititi.
The 24-year-old actress attended the event at the Crosby Street Hotel on Monday, October 19, in the handmade creation designed by Elias Matso.

Speaking about the outfit, Ortega said: “He is incredible. This is a one-of-one dress. It’s made out of steel rods. So it’s handmade, human-made, a lot of effort. And he’s been holding onto this dress for me, and it’s perfect. And it’s very fitting with the film, so I’m so grateful.”
Klara and the Sun follows Klara, played by Ortega, an Artificial Friend searching for the perfect home. She forms a close bond with Josie, a girl who has a difficult relationship with her mother and whose family has experienced significant loss.
The film also stars Mia Tharia as Josie, with Adams playing her mother. Aran Murphy, Steve Buscemi and Natasha Lyonne are also part of the cast.
Klara and the Sun is due to debut in cinemas on October 23.
