Katie Price has been pictured without her wedding ring while holidaying in Marbella, as uncertainty continues to surround her marriage to Lee Andrews.
The 48-year-old former glamour model was seen enjoying a swim in a purple bikini on Monday, during a trip to Spain with friends. She later added a semi-sheer skirt and white heels as she chatted with companions at the hotel.
Price also appeared to display the tattoo reading “Owned by Lee”, despite growing speculation about the state of her relationship with Andrews.
The couple married in Dubai earlier this year after a brief romance and had matching tattoos in May. Andrews has an “Owned by Katie” design across his back.
Price’s latest appearance follows a series of cryptic social media posts in which she suggested she had endured a difficult period.
One message shared on Instagram read: “My side of the story doesn’t matter anymore. Life happened, it hurt, I healed, but most importantly, I learned who deserves a seat at my table and who will never sit at it again.”
She also posted the words “I survived” over a quote about remembering those who had helped, harmed or abandoned her during difficult times. Price did not say who the messages referred to.
Andrews, 43, has reportedly been detained in Dubai’s Al Awir prison after being arrested in connection with alleged unpaid debts and fraud claims. Earlier reports suggested he had been released in July, but subsequent accounts have claimed he remains behind bars.
The Standard previously reported that Andrews had been held in Al Awir after an earlier period in custody, with Dubai authorities describing the matter as a private civil dispute. The claims surrounding his detention have not been fully explained publicly.
Price has continued to support her husband publicly, despite the difficulties surrounding their relationship. She recently appeared to put her wedding ring back on in an Instagram selfie, after being seen without it on several occasions.
In a podcast appearance, she said she wanted Andrews to be held accountable for any harm he may have caused to other people.
“I don’t like people hurting people,” Price said, adding that she wanted her podcast producer, Ben, to interview Andrews and “delve in deep”.
Her Marbella break comes as the relationship faces renewed scrutiny, with Price’s holiday images showing her presenting a carefree front while her husband’s reported legal troubles continue to unfold in Dubai.
