Kroy “KJ” Biermann Jr has been released on a $200,000 bond and is living with his mother, reality television personality Kim Zolciak, while he awaits further proceedings in a felony sexual assault case in Georgia.
The 15-year-old, the son of former Atlanta Falcons player Kroy Biermann and Ms Zolciak, was released within the past several days, TMZ reported on Tuesday, 22 September.
His release is subject to strict conditions imposed by Fulton County Superior Court Judge Melynee Leftridge. He must remain at his mother’s Alpharetta home, attend school virtually and wear a GPS monitoring device.
The bond order also prevents him from using a mobile phone or social media and bars him from having direct or indirect contact with the alleged victim, her family or associates. He is not permitted to have contact with anyone aged 16 or under, including younger siblings, and may leave the property only for medical or court appointments.

Biermann was arrested on 17 August after allegations relating to an incident involving a female classmate at an Alpharetta fitness centre on 23 April. He was initially charged with aggravated sodomy and aggravated sexual battery.
A grand jury later indicted him on seven felony counts: aggravated child molestation, aggravated sexual battery, aggravated sodomy, false imprisonment and three counts of sexual battery against a child under 16.
His lawyer, Jason Sheffield, has maintained that Biermann is innocent. Ms Zolciak has also said that her son “categorically denies” the allegations. The claims have not been tested in court.
Prosecutors have separately asked the court to authorise forensic interviews with minors and to consider changes to Biermann’s bond conditions. The filings do not publicly identify the children prosecutors want to interview or explain their connection to the case.
