Lady Gaga has welcomed her first child with her music producer fiancé, Michael Polansky, US news outlets have reported.
The couple are understood to have become parents earlier this year. They have not disclosed the baby’s sex, date of birth or any other details.
The news was first confirmed by Page Six after Gaga was photographed holding a baby while walking with Polansky in northern California.
Gaga, 40, and Polansky, 42, have been together for nearly seven years and announced their engagement in July 2024.
The couple have largely kept their relationship private. Gaga has previously described Polansky as having a significant influence on both her personal life and creative work.
The singer has spoken publicly about her wish to become a mother. In an interview with InStyle in 2020, she said: “I will say I am very excited to have kids. I look forward to being a mum. Isn’t it incredible what we can do? We can hold a human inside and grow it. Then it comes out, and it’s our job to keep it alive.”
Appearing on The Late Show With Stephen Colbert in October 2025, Gaga said motherhood was what she really wanted next.
“I would like to do many things … But what I really want is to be a mum. That’s my next starring role, I hope,” she said.
