Love Island Australia star Zac Nunns is reportedly set to join the cast of Married At First Sight Australia in 2027, in a major casting gamble for the Channel Nine dating experiment.
Nunns, who appeared on the fifth season of Love Island Australia in 2023, is understood to be among the participants being lined up for the programme’s fourteenth season.
He finished as a runner-up on Love Island Australia alongside British contestant Lucinda Strafford, after the pair formed a relationship during their time in the villa.
The reported move would see Nunns swap the fast-moving world of villa dating for a format in which couples meet for the first time at the altar before taking part in the experiment.
According to his official Love Island Australia profile, Nunns is originally from New Zealand and was studying media and communications after previously working as an electrician. He was 25 when he entered the show.
Applications for Married At First Sight 2027 opened through Nine’s official casting process, with prospective participants expected to commit up to four months to filming between late July and November 2026.
The new series is expected to air on Channel Nine and 9Now in early 2027, although an official launch date and full cast announcement have not yet been confirmed.
