Manchester United and Chelsea are reportedly scouting Palmeiras across several age groups as they search for emerging talent in the transfer market.
The Brazilian club has become a notable source of elite young players, with Endrick having moved to Real Madrid and Estevao Willian now part of Chelsea’s set-up.
A report claims the two Premier League clubs are monitoring Palmeiras’ academy, with their interest extending as far down as the Under-12 level. It remains unclear whether the scouting activity has identified any specific transfer targets.
Palmeiras academy continues to attract attention
Palmeiras’ recent success in developing players has made its youth system an attractive destination for clubs seeking the next generation of talent.
Alongside Endrick and Estevao, Vitor Reiss is listed among the academy products to have moved on to Manchester City. Gabriel Jesus also came through Palmeiras before establishing himself at the highest level.
Brazilian greats Cafu, Roberto Carlos and Rivaldo also had spells with Palmeiras, although they did not develop there as academy players.
Chelsea have made the recruitment of promising young players a central part of their transfer strategy in recent times. The club has yet to translate that approach into the level of success it wants on the pitch, but its status as a major European club may continue to appeal to youngsters seeking to develop at the highest level.
