Atlanta HBCUs receive Home Depot grants
The announcement came as Clark Atlanta University and Spelman College were named among the recipients of The Home Depot’s 2026 Retool Your School Campus Improvement Grants.
Each of the ten winning institutions is due to receive $200,000, with the awards intended to fund improvements that deliver lasting benefits for students and staff. Clark Atlanta plans to use its grant to create a student collaboration and innovation hub, while Spelman intends to renovate transitional spaces used by students.
