Jessica Page has urged the Premier to act swiftly to find the frontline workers needed to support families in the Pilbara, warning that expert advice must not delay action when children’s welfare may be at risk.
“Expert advice is important, but it is not an excuse to go slow. Not when the welfare of children is in any doubt,” Ms Page said.
Her call is for the Government to prioritise securing the workers required to protect children and assist Pilbara families, rather than allowing further delays.
