Richarlison has agreed personal terms with Trabzonspor as the Tottenham forward attempts to secure a move before the Turkish transfer window closes on Friday, September 4.
The agreement does not yet mean the transfer is complete, with Tottenham and the Turkish club still to settle a fee for the 29-year-old Brazil international.
Trabzonspor have reportedly seen bids of £15 million and £20 million rejected by Spurs, but are expected to return with an improved proposal as they make Richarlison their priority attacking target.
The forward is understood to be keen on the move, with reports suggesting he has been offered a salary worth around three times his current Tottenham wages.
Richarlison’s future has remained uncertain since a proposed return to Everton collapsed on transfer deadline day in England. Tottenham had hoped to include him in a deal involving Iliman Ndiaye, but the move failed to materialise.
Spurs head coach Roberto De Zerbi has previously indicated that Richarlison has repeatedly asked to leave the club this summer. The striker also made clear on social media that he did not want his next move to be decided for him.
Tottenham’s domestic transfer window closed on Tuesday, September 1, but clubs in Turkey can still complete signings until Friday night, leaving Trabzonspor with limited time to reach an agreement with the Premier League club.
Richarlison joined Tottenham from Everton in 2022 and has one year remaining on his contract, with the club holding an option to extend it by a further season.
