Nicole “Snooki” Polizzi has said she is cancer-free after undergoing a hysterectomy for stage one cervical cancer.
The Jersey Shore star, 38, told People she was “on the other side” after the operation on 31 July.
“As of right now, I am cancer-free,” Polizzi said. “They got everything out. So I’m definitely happy that I did it.”

Polizzi revealed earlier this year that doctors had found cancerous cells at the top of her cervix following a colposcopy and biopsy. She later said testing had detected adenocarcinoma, a type of cancer, after a smear test.
She shared an update on her recovery in a TikTok video on 11 September, saying she still needed to take things slowly despite feeling well.
“I have to remind myself like it takes a couple months to really, really recover,” she said. “And even though I feel OK, like don’t go over the top.”
Polizzi said she was still experiencing fatigue but was gradually returning to normal. She also said doctors had warned her that the cancer could come back, meaning she will continue to require regular follow-up appointments.
The reality television personality, who has three children, said sharing her experience online had helped her process the diagnosis and offered support to other women facing similar health concerns.
She previously acknowledged that she had delayed having a smear test, and has urged her followers to attend routine screening appointments.
