Television presenter Sophie Walsh and cricketer Moises Henriques have welcomed a baby girl, announcing the arrival of their daughter Clementine “Minty” Ana Henriques on Instagram.
The couple said Clementine was born on September 29. Walsh described her as “the sweetest girl we’ve ever known” in a post celebrating the new arrival.
Henriques also shared photographs of the newborn with her older brother Archie, who is his son from a former marriage.
“Welcome to our sweet little angel,” Henriques wrote. “So proud and in love with mumma (Walsh).”
He added: “Her older brother Archie is absolutely besotted for now …”
Walsh has worked for Nine News as a Europe correspondent and Weekend Today host, and has most recently presented the Sydney weather. She and Henriques have been publicly linked since 2024.
The birth comes months after Henriques announced his retirement from Big Bash cricket following a 22-year career. In August, he returned to Portugal to captain the country’s national team ahead of the 2028 World Cup.
Several of Walsh’s Nine colleagues congratulated the new mother, including Today host Sylvia Jefferies, A Current Affair journalist Liz Pearl and former Today presenter Tim Davies.
“Wonderful news, Soph! So happy to see you with your darling girl in your arms. Minty is a beauty!” Jefferies said.
