The Age’s daily Superquiz has been relaunched with a redesigned format aimed at making it quicker and easier to use on mobile devices.
The refreshed quiz retains its familiar 15-question general knowledge format, but introduces a series of interactive features intended to make results more immediate and competitive.
Players can now see how others are performing in real time and compare their own progress with the wider readership. A running score is displayed in the top-right corner, while a progress bar shows both the total number of questions and the player’s position in the quiz.
After each answer, percentages reveal how many other players selected each option. The feature is designed to show how a player’s choices compare with those of other readers, while also offering an indication of which questions proved most difficult.
The new-look Superquiz presents questions one at a time rather than displaying the full set at once. Once the final result has been reached, the quiz can be cleared for another player on the same device by selecting ‘Play Again’.
Results can also be shared with friends and family through Facebook, X and WhatsApp. The Age said further updates to the quiz experience were planned.
