Two former fifth-grade teachers at River Crest Elementary in Wisconsin have pleaded guilty to sex crimes involving minors, after prosecutors said the women exchanged messages about their relationships with boys.
Abigail Faust, 25, admitted to child enticement and second-degree sexual assault of a child under 16. She acknowledged sexually assaulting two 15-year-old boys, one of whom came from a family that employed her as a nanny.

Faust’s former colleague and friend, Madison Bergmann, 26, had previously pleaded guilty to child enticement and sexual misconduct involving an 11-year-old pupil. She was sentenced to six years in prison.
Prosecutors said Faust and Bergmann texted one another about their relationships with the boys.
Faust had also been accused of inappropriate conduct involving one of her own fifth-grade pupils. It was alleged that she kept the boy after class and kissed him on the cheek, but those charges were dismissed as part of her plea agreement.
She was also accused of knowing that Bergmann was “making out” with the 11-year-old and failing to report it.
Faust told the court that her actions were not simply a mistake or a matter of poor judgement. She said she was undergoing therapy to understand her choices.
Faust is due to be sentenced in December.
