A sixth annual AleWagger launch party is taking place in Gilbert on Saturday, with a limited-edition beer raising money for the Arizona Animal Welfare League’s animal welfare programmes.

Visitors will be able to try this year’s AleWagger pale ale, see the new can design and spend time with puppies available for adoption. Food and pet-focused vendors will also be at the launch.
For the first time, members of the public were invited to enter a raffle for the chance to have their pet featured on the beer cans. The winning animals are being unveiled as part of this year’s celebration.
Proceeds from keg sales and a share of six-pack sales will support the Arizona Animal Welfare League’s work, including adoptions, low-cost preventative veterinary care and rescue efforts in rural communities.
