The best-dressed stars at the 2026 Academy Museum Gala have been selected from nearly 200 celebrities who attended the red-carpet event in Los Angeles.
The sixth annual gala took place at the Academy Museum on Saturday October 17, celebrating the organisation’s work to honour and preserve cinema.
Funds raised through donations on the evening will support exhibitions, educational opportunities and public screenings, while helping the museum remain accessible to visitors of all ages.

Hunter Schafer was placed 16th on the best-dressed list in a custom black velvet Prada column gown. The design, inspired by the brand’s spring/summer 2027 collection, featured a bow detail, a slit and a contrasting white georgette panel.
Charlize Theron took 15th place in a sheer black Tom Ford dress with a long column silhouette. The gown was detailed with an architectural arrangement of lace, black beads and grey and black crystals.
Theron completed the look with jewellery by Boucheron, adding a further statement to her red-carpet appearance at the Academy Museum Gala.
