Amanda Seyfried said her life is “interesting” at the Academy Museum Gala in Los Angeles, where she also hinted at her involvement in a closely guarded new project.
The Oscar-nominated actress was among more than 100 celebrities attending the event on Saturday night. Speaking on the red carpet, she told The Hollywood Reporter that interviews were difficult for her “right now” for a “good reason”.
Seyfried added: “I think everything that’s happening is meant to happen. Everything, everyone that’s in your life is meant to be in your life. That’s just kind of, it’s, and I’m here tonight and I’m meant to be here and I get to go home tomorrow and I’m meant to be home and so on and so forth and then some.”
She is involved in a buzzworthy project whose details are being kept under wraps to avoid spoilers. No further information about the production was disclosed.
Asked what subjects she would be happy to discuss, Seyfried said she preferred “to talk about the emus” and Halloween, as well as “apple pie”, olives and “really good hard ciders”.
