Power Rangers star Amy Jo Johnson was on board the private jet carrying Donnie Wahlberg when it skidded off the runway during an aborted take-off in Las Vegas.
The aircraft’s wing struck a fence after it ran out of runway at Harry Reid International Airport. Johnson, who played Kimberly Hart, the Pink Ranger, shared photographs from the scene, including images of police and investigators on the tarmac.
One photograph appeared to show the pilots praying alongside another man. The identity of the third person was unclear, although his clothing appeared similar to Wahlberg’s.
Johnson also posted pictures from a New Kids on the Block concert, where she had watched Wahlberg and his bandmates perform during their final Las Vegas show.
“It was an eventful weekend. That’s for sure. Watching the incredible @donniewahlberg and his mates crush it in their last show in Vegas. And then surviving a very hairy plane situation. But we did. And I’m grateful and very happy to be alive!” she wrote.
Wahlberg later described the incident in a video, saying the plane “didn’t get up in the air” during take-off before running out of runway and hitting the fence.
He thanked God and the pilots for saving the lives of those on board.
Air traffic control audio from the incident also captured the emergency as it unfolded.
