Jennifer Aniston’s boyfriend Jim Curtis has offered a rare glimpse into their relationship, revealing that the couple relies on meditation, conversation and mutual understanding when they face disagreements.
Curtis, 50, discussed the romance during an appearance on The Jamie Kern Lima Show on Monday, describing his relationship with the 57-year-old actress as “really” going well.
Asked whether they use a prayer recommended by host Jamie Kern Lima to help couples through arguments, Curtis said: “We do a lot of meditation, we do a lot of talk.”
The prayer, which includes the words “I’m sorry. I’m listening. Thank you. I love you”, was described by Lima as a useful way of lowering the defences of couples who have been together for many years.
Curtis said he and Aniston had been together for a year and a half, meaning they used different methods to those that might suit a long-established marriage.
“Jen and I have been together a year and a half, so this tool isn’t the first tool that we go to,” he said, adding that they instead focused on “meditation, acceptance, understanding”.
He added: “In the honeymoon phase, your tools don’t have to be like big sledgehammers.”
Curtis, a hypnotherapist and transformational coach, also spoke warmly about the Friends star, saying: “My experience of her is so grounded and so open and caring and kind and loving.”
“I feel blessed to be in a relationship with someone that is so open-hearted and kind and loving,” he said.

The interview was released shortly before Aniston is due to interview Curtis on stage at the 92nd Street Y in New York on Wednesday, September 2, as part of an event connected to his forthcoming book, The Book of Possibility.
Simon & Schuster has announced that the book, which explores meditation, hypnotherapy, mindfulness and personal transformation, is due to be published on September 22.
Curtis said Aniston had also been welcomed by her close circle of friends, which includes Courteney Cox, Adam Sandler, Jimmy Kimmel and Jason Bateman.
Describing the group as “such a beautiful community and group of people”, he said he felt “blessed to be part [of] and welcomed into that family”.
“There’s a reason why that whole group and community is so beloved,” he added.
Aniston and Curtis were first linked after being seen holidaying with friends in Majorca in 2025. They later made their red-carpet debut together at the Elle Women in Hollywood celebration in Beverly Hills in November that year.
The couple has continued to keep much of their relationship private, although Aniston has shared photographs of Curtis on social media and the pair are increasingly appearing together in public.
