Comedian Carrot Top has reportedly been released from hospital and is now at home with his family, where he is said to be doing well.
The update was reported on Friday night, citing a source close to the performer.
Carrot Top was taken to hospital after authorities received a call about a suspected overdose at his Las Vegas home on September 18. He had been in critical condition.
A police report said officers found him breathing but unconscious beside a pool in his back garden. It said his manager had told him about a published article alleging that he had behaved in a sexually inappropriate way.
According to the report, Carrot Top responded that his show was going to be over and said he hoped a third party and her daughter would be “okay without him”.
He later allegedly texted his manager: “Done.” When the manager was unable to contact him again, authorities were asked to attend the property.
A woman who went to check on him also called 911. In dispatch audio, she could be heard saying that he was awake but “passing out”, with his eyes rolling back and his face turning blue.
Carrot Top was then taken to hospital, where he remained until his reported release.
