Chris Brown faces allegations that he made death threats against his former partner Diamond Brown’s boyfriend, according to court documents filed during their dispute over child support and custody.
Diamond alleges that the singer has displayed “disturbing behaviour” since their relationship ended two years ago, despite having a new partner with whom he has a child.
She claims Brown becomes “extremely angry” when she dates other men and has made threats against her most recent boyfriend, as well as his twin brother. She also alleges that third parties have been used to issue threats.
“Both of these relationships broke up because of Chris’s Harassment,” Diamond said in the filing. “I should not be left to be scared to move on with my life because of Chris’s anger and resentment.”
Diamond said she had experienced similar conduct when she began seeing another man about two years ago. She described Brown’s alleged behaviour as harassing and frightening, and said it had disturbed her peace.
She said she had asked Brown’s lawyer, through her own legal team, to persuade him to stop the alleged conduct since March. However, she said Brown had not responded to the issue.
Diamond also claimed Brown recently confronted her in front of their daughter, Lovely, at a birthday party. She described the incident as “harmful and especially inappropriate” and alleged that he had attempted to harass her through social media.
Although she said she had tried to avoid seeking legal protection, Diamond said she had considered applying for a domestic violence restraining order. The documents state that she is not currently seeking such an order.
“I feel that I have been living under siege and would appreciate the right to peaceful enjoyment of my life,” she said.
Chris Brown denies harassment allegations
Brown denies Diamond’s claims. In an email said to have been sent by his lawyer to her legal team, he said: “Chris denies this and in fact I continue to see your client posting things that are inappropriate. Please send me specifics to address so I can understand and assist if this is really happening.”
The allegations were made alongside Diamond’s claims that Brown is not providing enough child support for their daughter. She said he pays her 1,500 dollars a month, while she believes his net worth is 50 million dollars.
Diamond alleges that Brown has refused to provide financial documents needed to determine the appropriate level of support, has delayed disclosure and has attempted to force her to spend her money on the legal dispute. She said she was seeking only “basic adequacy to meet the child’s needs”, rather than the same lifestyle as Brown.
She also referred to alleged purchases of a pink Porsche for the mother of Brown’s youngest son and a black Cadillac Escalade for the mother of his first daughter, which she said were posted on Instagram.
Diamond sued Brown over child support and custody in May 2026 and sought primary custody of their daughter. Brown opposed that request.
