A man has died after being shot in Dallas early on Saturday morning, with police appealing for information as they search for an unknown suspect.
Officers were called to the 2100 block of Royal Lane at about 2.10am following reports of gunfire. The victim was found near the 11300 block of Newkirk Street with an apparent gunshot wound.
Dallas Fire-Rescue took him to a local hospital, where he later died from his injuries, according to the Dallas Police Department.
The man’s identity has not been released. Police said the circumstances surrounding the fatal shooting in Dallas, including the motive, remain under investigation.
