A 35-year-old man was shot dead near a Greyhound bus station in southwest Atlanta early on Sunday, August 30, police said.
Atlanta Police Department officers were called to the 200 block of Forsyth Street SW at about 6.30am after reports of a person being shot.
Emergency medical personnel pronounced the man dead at the scene. A firearm was found nearby, according to police.
The department’s Homicide Unit is leading the investigation. The victim’s identity has not been released.
Police have not identified any suspects or disclosed a possible motive. The investigation remains ongoing.
