Lorna Hajdini, a former JPMorgan executive, says she has received threats and “vile” AI-generated content while fighting a sexual harassment lawsuit brought by an ex-banker.
In court documents, Hajdini claims the allegations have made it difficult for her to go about her daily life, saying she cannot walk down the street “like a normal human being”.
She says she has spent more than a year waiting to “clear her name” over claims made by the banker, who is identified in the proceedings as John Doe.
Hajdini is opposing the banker’s request to delay the case, arguing that he has no evidence to support what she describes as “callous and fabricated allegations against her”.
She also alleges that the banker and his legal team have denigrated her in the press for months. Hajdini claims she has received “countless lewd and threatening messages” and has become the subject of persistent jokes, memes and sexually degrading AI-generated material.
She says the material was created because of what she describes as the banker’s lies.
Hajdini told the court she is receiving therapy and that each delay to the proceedings has been a nightmare. She is asking a judge to reject the request for an extension to certain deadlines so the case can progress.
The banker has sued Hajdini, alleging that he was subjected to “abhorrent sexual abuse”. The allegations have not been proven.
Hajdini has countersued for defamation, claiming the lawsuit is baseless, intended to damage her reputation and aimed at forcing JPMorgan to pay millions.
