Heidi Gardner has described Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce’s wedding as “really sweet”, saying the couple’s excitement about marrying was unmistakable despite the event’s huge public profile.
The Saturday Night Live alum shared her thoughts during an interview with iHeartRadio, praising the pair’s connection and the atmosphere at the ceremony.
“It was such a beautiful wedding of two people that were so excited to marry each other,” Gardner said. “And like, you could feel that. So palpable.”
She added: “And that was just like, for something that was, you know, hyped in a way on such a grand scale, it’s like, oh, it just comes down to love and two people being like, ‘I am so excited that we’re getting married,’ and that was really sweet.”
Gardner also shared a glimpse of her involvement in the celebrations by posting a photograph of herself in a floor-length blue gown on Instagram on July 4. The caption read: “I’ll always remember being at a wedding where all the Chiefs were there too.”
She first met Kelce when he hosted Saturday Night Live in 2023 and has been a longtime supporter of the Kansas City Chiefs. Gardner also became friends with his mother, Donna Kelce, with the pair making friendship bracelets together, according to an interview Gardner gave in 2024.
