The actress was approached in the city on Thursday while signing autographs, with the exchange captured on video. A photographer also tried to ask her about her pregnancy, but the conversation was interrupted by the unusual interaction.
Swank appeared to make repeated attempts to establish the fan’s name before she could personalise the autograph. The following exchange with another autograph seeker also failed to go entirely smoothly.
She later discussed some of her pregnancy cravings, while footage showed her baby bump.
