Two senior leaders of India’s Cockroach Janta Party have been released after spending a week in prison following a protest in New Delhi.
Ashutosh Ranka and Saurav Das were detained after demonstrating against alleged fraud in voter lists and calling for the election chief to resign.
The protest took place at a site where demonstrations were prohibited. Both men have now been freed after seven days in custody.
