A 52-year-old truck driver has died after the prime mover and trailer he was driving left the road and crashed into a tree near Red Gully, north of Gingin.
The collision happened at about 2.05pm on Friday on Mogumber Road West, near Brand Highway. The white Volvo vehicle was travelling through the area when it left the road.
Western Australia Police said the driver was critically injured in the crash and died at the scene.
Major Crash Investigators are examining the circumstances of the fatal crash and have appealed for witnesses to come forward.
