Former Mob Wives star Marissa Jade has made a rare public appearance in Austin, Texas, where she was photographed relaxing by a pool with former Teen Mom personality Farrah Abraham.
Jade, 41, showed off a black bikini as the pair chatted, took photographs and spent time in the sunshine. The appearance comes a decade after VH1’s controversial reality series aired its final season.
She joined Mob Wives for its sixth and last series in 2016, becoming involved in one of the show’s most heated clashes with fellow newcomer Brittany Fogarty.
The disagreement eventually escalated into a physical altercation between the two women, providing one of the season’s most dramatic moments.
Reflecting on the programme in a 2024 appearance on the Cats and Pudding podcast, Jade said: “We were probably one of the only real reality shows that really had that drama, camera on, camera off.”
Following the end of Mob Wives, Jade moved into British reality television. She appeared on Celebrity Big Brother in 2017, although she was the first housemate to be evicted from that series.
She later returned to the small screen in MTV’s Celebrity Ex on the Beach in 2020.
Jade has since pursued acting, appearing in a number of low-budget films released directly through video-on-demand platforms. She has also previously worked as an OnlyFans creator, although her account now appears to have closed.
Her reunion with the Mob Wives world has continued away from television. In recent months, she has appeared alongside original star Renee Graziano and Graziano’s sister Jennifer, the creator and producer of the series, during a live speaking tour.
The franchise itself could also be heading back to television. Reports in February said the Graziano sisters were discussing a possible reboot with networks, with Renee the only original cast member confirmed to be attached at that stage.
Original star Drita D’Avanzo has said she is not interested in returning, while the wider line-up for any revival remains undecided.
Mob Wives premiered on VH1 in 2011 and became known for following women connected to New York’s organised-crime world, as well as for its explosive arguments and shifting alliances.
The series also launched the profile of Angela “Big Ang” Raiola, who went on to front two spin-off programmes. Raiola died in 2016, aged 55, after a battle with brain and lung cancer.
