Russia and Ukraine continue to trade strikes amid uncertainty over a reported energy ceasefire announced by Donald Trump, with Ukraine’s president saying Russian attacks on the country’s energy infrastructure are ongoing.
Mr Trump said the two sides had agreed to halt attacks on energy facilities. However, neither Moscow nor Kyiv has confirmed that an agreement is in place.
The Ukrainian president’s comments cast further doubt on whether the proposed energy ceasefire has taken effect.
