James Talarico and Senator Jon Ossoff are to headline a high-value Democratic fundraising event in Los Angeles on Thursday, September 10, hosted by television figures including Shonda Rhimes and Damon Lindelof.
The event, billed as “Two Visionaries, One Night”, will also be hosted by Lindelof’s wife, Heidi. Talarico is the Democratic nominee for the US Senate in Texas, while Ossoff is seeking re-election in Georgia.
Tickets range from $1,000 to $27,000, with the two lowest-priced tiers already sold out, according to the invitation. Proceeds will be divided equally between the two candidates’ separate fundraising committees.
The Los Angeles gathering brings together the two biggest Democratic Senate fundraisers of the 2026 election cycle. Ossoff has raised $77.3 million for his campaign, while Talarico has brought in $68.6 million.
Ossoff is due to travel to Los Angeles from the Bay Area, where he is scheduled to appear at two fundraising events on Wednesday.
The pair have also appeared together in at least two fundraising emails urging supporters to split their donations between them. Their campaigns described the contests as a fight against “some of the most powerful people in our country”.
“That’s exactly why I need James fighting alongside me in the U.S. Senate,” Ossoff wrote in one exchange.
“And it’s why we need to re-elect Jon,” Talarico replied.
