At least seven people were taken to hospital after a Grand Prairie police chase ended in a multi-vehicle crash on Interstate 30 in Texas late on Saturday, 5 September.
The pursuit involving a sedan came to an end at about 10.45pm on the eastbound carriageway, shortly before the President George Bush Turnpike, also known as State Highway 161.
At least four vehicles were involved in the collision and came to rest on the grass at the right-hand side of the motorway. Emergency crews took the injured to hospitals in the area.
The injuries ranged from serious to non-life-threatening, according to officials. The Arlington Police Department also attended to help manage traffic as lanes were closed and long delays built up through the night.
Police have not released details of what led to the pursuit or identified those involved. The Grand Prairie Police Department is investigating.
