Chicago police are seeking a man wanted in connection with an alleged sex offence on a Chicago Transit Authority train in the city’s North Side.
The incident happened at about 9pm earlier this week in the 3900 block of North Sheridan Road, in the Lake View East neighbourhood, according to the Chicago Police Department.
Police said the suspect allegedly committed a “lewd act” while aboard the train. They have not disclosed further details about the alleged behaviour.
The man is described as an African American aged between 30 and 40, about 6ft tall and weighing approximately 200lb. He is also said to have slight facial hair.
CPD has released surveillance images as it continues its investigation.
