New South Wales Police have released CCTV images of an e-bike rider they believe may assist inquiries into six alleged sexual offences against women in Narrabeen, on Sydney’s northern beaches.
The man is described as Caucasian, aged under 25, about 175cm tall and of medium build. Police say he was riding an e-bike when several of the alleged incidents occurred on walking trails around Narrabeen Lagoon.
Officers received reports relating to incidents between October 1 and 12. Investigations began after three alleged offences were reported over two days, in which a man allegedly approached women, sexually touched them and rode away.
Police said the man also made inappropriate sexual comments during one of those incidents.
Another woman alleged she was sexually touched by a man at Narrabeen Lagoon at the start of October before he left on an e-bike.
Two further reports concerned alleged incidents on October 12, when women said they were sexually touched by a male riding an e-bike near Bilarong Reserve.
Detectives from Strike Force Mexvo are investigating whether the reports are linked.
Police are asking anyone with information, mobile phone or dashcam footage, or anyone who may have witnessed the alleged incidents, to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
