Scottie Scheffler reaffirmed his status as the world’s No. 1 golfer by winning the Tour Championship for the second time, while Australian debutant Min Woo Lee secured a share of fourth place at East Lake Golf Club in Atlanta.
Scheffler closed with a four-under-par 68 to finish on 16 under, three shots clear of Norway’s Viktor Hovland and claim the season-ending FedExCup event.
The victory adds another significant title to a dominant period for the American, who also entered the tournament as the leading player in the FedExCup standings.
Hovland finished runner-up on 13 under after a final-round 67, while Lee ended his first appearance at East Lake on 11 under. The Australian was one shot ahead of compatriot Adam Scott.
Lee made an immediate impression in Atlanta by opening with an eight-under-par 62, putting himself at the top of the leaderboard after the first round. He remained in contention despite dropping back during the second round.
Scottie Scheffler’s success follows his Tour Championship triumph in 2024 and gives him a second FedExCup title in three seasons.
The result also capped a notable debut for Lee, who reached the 30-man field after a consistent season on the PGA Tour and finished among the leading players in the final event.
