Selena Gomez hosted the 2026 Rare Impact Fund Benefit in Los Angeles on Wednesday evening, arriving at the Hollywood Palladium in a sparkling red Prada dress for the charity event.
The actress and singer launched the Rare Impact Fund alongside her beauty brand, Rare Beauty, in 2020. The initiative aims to help young people access mental health care, stigma-free community support and resources tailored to their backgrounds and experiences.
The fund was created with a pledge to raise 100 million dollars over 10 years and has so far secured more than 30 million dollars for youth mental health organisations and initiatives.
Reflecting on its progress, Gomez said witnessing the fund’s work in communities had been particularly meaningful.
“Probably actually witnessing what we do, we are so fortunate to have raised 30 million plus already for this fund, and seeing what we’re doing with the communities, with programs, different organizations — it’s beyond my wildest dreams,” she said.
She added: “Going to a center for young people to even just go and be around other people and feel support, we’re able to see what we are doing from the ground up, and we’re doing it globally. It’s the most incredibly proud thing that I could ever just claim.”
The benefit brought together a host of high-profile guests, including Katy Perry, Martin Short, America Ferrera, Sean Hayes and Shay Mitchell.
Also attending were pregnant Dancing with the Stars professional Witney Carson, Matilda actress Mara Wilson, TikTok creator Mikayla Nogueira, Olympic gymnast Jordan Chiles, Natalia Bryant and singer-songwriter Leon Bridges.
