Selma Blair has made her first public appearance since her arrest, meeting fans at the 90s Con in Hartford, Connecticut.
The 54-year-old actress attended the convention on Friday, where she posed for photographs and signed autographs at a booth. The event is being held at the Connecticut Convention Center from October 16 to 18.
Photographs shared online showed Blair sitting in front of a 90s Con backdrop as she hugged attendees. Influencer Brad Deiter posted an image from what appeared to be a meet-and-greet and wrote: “Having the greatest time at 90s Con.”
Another attendee shared a photograph with Blair, who is known for her role in Cruel Intentions, as they posed together beside the backdrop.
Blair is scheduled to appear at the convention on Friday, Saturday and Sunday for autograph sessions and photo opportunities. She is also due to take part in a panel, although details have yet to be confirmed.
Her appearance follows her arrest on Sunday October 11 over allegations that she bit a flight attendant, assaulted another person and tried to open the aircraft door during a flight. It was also reported that she had been restrained before being arrested when the plane landed.
Blair’s representative has since said she “experienced a medical emergency on the flight. There was no attempt to open the door of the aircraft. Selma did not intend to harm anyone.”
