Sydney Sweeney arrived in Venice for the 83rd Venice Film Festival on Wednesday, 2 September, drawing attention in a white strapless dress and a necklace bearing the initials “SB” – an apparent nod to her partner, music executive Scooter Braun.
The 28-year-old actress paired the fitted dress with white kitten heels, brown-tinted sunglasses and a brown leather handbag with gold detailing. Her blonde hair and understated accessories completed the polished look as she left her hotel.
Braun, 45, was not with Sweeney during her evening at Harry’s Bar. Instead, she was accompanied by an almost entirely female group of friends and colleagues, alongside two suited bodyguards.
The appearance came as Sweeney began a busy schedule of premieres, parties and brand engagements in the Italian city. She is attending the festival as an ambassador for Armani Beauty, alongside model Kendall Jenner.
Earlier in the day, Sweeney was photographed in a gold lace handkerchief top and cream Bermuda shorts after arriving in Venice.
The festival’s opening events began on 2 September with the premiere of British director Danny Boyle’s Ink, a drama about the rise of media magnate Rupert Murdoch. The 83rd edition runs on the Lido until 12 September.
Sweeney’s latest appearance followed a sighting in Los Angeles the previous day, when she was seen with Braun and his three children, Jagger Joseph, 11, Levi Magnus, nine, and Hart Violet, seven.
The children are Braun’s with his former wife, health activist Yael Cohen. The couple married in 2014, had three children and finalised their divorce in 2022.
Sweeney and Braun were first linked after meeting during the celebrations surrounding Jeff Bezos and Lauren Sánchez’s wedding in Venice in June 2025. They have since been seen together on several occasions and have featured one another on social media.
In one recent post, the pair dressed as Superman and Wonder Woman during a themed gathering at Sweeney’s Idaho lake house, which she hosted for friends and family.
